PRODUCTION PARTNER
ECOVEST
ECOVEST is a textile design and manufacture company located in Portugal, dedicated to the development and production of styles and fashion collections, in an environmentally friendly manner.
TENCEL-FIBERS
Reprise partners with TENCEL Fibers for our activewear collection. TENCEL™ branded Lyocell and Modal fibers make them suitable for the growing athleisure category – designed for general wear and moderate exercise. TENCEL™ fibers will favorably influence athleisure aesthetics with its highly saturated colors, sheen, and smooth hand-feel.
FOREST TO FASHION
STEP 1
FOREST
Our Tencel Fibers are naturally sourced from our non-deforestation and organically certified forests
Step 2
WOOD
Once the trees have been harvested, the logs are processed into wood chips.
STEP 3
PULP
100% of wood components are dissolved using a nontoxic solvent used to produce pulp and any byproducts are reused in a closed-loop cycle.
STEP 4
FIBERS
The pulp is then combed, similar to the process of combing cotton, to be finally spun into yarn.
FINALE!
REPRISE
The final step from forest to fashion is working with our global partners EcoVest to finalize our plant-based collection.
GOTS AND OEKO-TEX CERTIFICATION
Organic Dyes
The Global Organic Textile Standard certification guarantees that every part of the production process shows a commitment to ethics and sustainability.
OEKO-TEX is a certification that requires meeting standards that guarantee consumer safety within the textile industry. It certifies that finished products don’t contain any substances that are harmful to humans. Together, these certifications verify that the dyes we use are safe for your body and the planet.
FAIR TRADE
Organic Cotton
This cotton is used in the inside and outside of our plush scrunchies.
The Fair Trade Certification puts the planet and people first. It verifies that the cotton we use meets rigorous standards — and that every step of the growth and production process provides safe working conditions, protects the environment, promotes livelihood, and empowers the communities involved.
FAIR TRADE
Natural Rubber
We use fair trade natural rubber in the elastic in our scrunchies. This allows us to support producers who promote fair working and living conditions, chemical-free processes, and environmentally friendly practices.
Fair trade natural rubber also meets the relevant criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council. It comes from responsibly managed forests and does not contribute to deforestation.
WORLD MAP
Over the last 7 years, we have worked endlessly to find the best partners who meet our sustainability and ethical manufacturing criteria. We are really proud of the partnership we have with our partners.
